Paris Saint-Germain striker Randal Kolo Muani is in contact with Tottenham Hotspur over a return to the club, according to French outlet L’Equipe.

The 27-year-old France international spent last season on loan at the club but failed to impress.

Kolo Muani has been linked with Juventus, but a return to London is feasible.

He bagged just five goals and four assists in 41 games across all competitions for Spurs.

It is an underwhelming return for a number nine, and Tottenham manager Roberto De Zerbi should be looking elsewhere.

Tottenham should pursue other options

While the Frenchman has proven his quality in Serie A, it appears that the Premier League is too challenging for him.

He could end up performing well if Spurs sign him on another loan spell, but it is a gamble.

Tottenham are expected to sign attackers this summer, with Richarlison set to leave.

They have been linked with Liverpool’s Cody Gakpo, RB Leipzig winger Antonio Nusa, AC Milan’s Rafael Leao and Manchester City’s Savinho.

Savinho’s teammate Omar Marmoush is another option.

Tottenham are also reportedly open to bidding £85 million for Eli Junior Kroupi, but Bournemouth are reluctant to sanction a sale.
