Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly still looking to make more signings before today’s transfer deadline and are searching outside of the Premier League for a right-back.

The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium have been linked with Nottingham Forest’s Neco Williams, but the City Ground club insist he is not for sale.

Spurs are now looking elsewhere to potentially get a deal done for a new right-back after selling Djed Spence to Inter Milan.

Lilywhites manager Roberto De Zerbi has started 2026-27 with Archie Gray at right-back, with the 20-year-old starting every game so far this season in the position.

He weighed in with an assist in the 5-1 victory over Charlton Athletic in the Carabao Cup, but Tottenham could do with a natural right-back going forward.

Pedro Porro also plays in the position, but he was deployed on the right wing against Newcastle United and De Zerbi could be open to signing a defensive-minded full-back in the coming hours.

The North London club have just a few hours to do so and their Italian manager will be desperate to get one or two top signings over the line after an underwhelming start to the new Premier League campaign.

Spurs have yet to score in their opening two league games of the season, losing 3-0 to Brentford on the opening weekend and 2-0 to the Magpies at home last Saturday.

They have added eight players to their first-team so far this summer, while Chelsea duo Tosin Adarabioyo and Mykhailo Mudryk are also set to join them.
