Everton travel south to face Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League on Saturday evening.

Following Ainsley Maitland-Niles's 96th-minute screamer against Manchester United, equalising with almost the last kick of the game, the Toffees remain undefeated three games in.

A big test against Spurs awaits tomorrow night as Everton look to maintain momentum at the beginning of another long season.

Despite fan frustration with the owners, following the Harrison Armstrong transfer saga and the deadline madness of the Folarin Balogun's collapsed transfer, there seems to be a skilful squad coming together.

Tyrique George is thriving, building his way into the team in a position where pace is needed within Moyes’s system. Jack Grealish also made his welcome return against Manchester United. David Moyes said he is excited about having them both in the squad.

In his press conference, Moyes talked about the size of his squad and said his ideal would be to have 21 outfield players rather than the 18 he was left with.

Spurs’ results have been poor. An opening-day battering at Brentford, a 2-0 defeat to Newcastle, and a goalless draw away at Nottingham Forest mean Roberto De Zerbi’s side are yet to score a goal this season.

EVERTON TEAM NEWS

David Moyes has confirmed that Jack Grealish is “ready to play” ahead of the trip to Tottenham. Grealish featured from the bench against Manchester United in his first appearance since returning to the club on loan.

Moyes also spoke about Christian Nørgaard, and confirmed the summer signing will not return to action before the international break.

“We’re hoping we get [Nørgaard] back somewhere after the international break. He's hugely important for us. He's someone whose experience we're looking forward to gaining.”

EVERTON PREDICTED LINEUP (4-3-2-1)

Pickford; Maitland-Niles, Tarkowski, Branthwaite, Mykolenko; Garner, Dewsbury-Hall, Armstrong; Grealish, George; Barry.
