Tottenham interested in signing Porto’s Samu Aghehowa | OneFootball

In their search for a new striker, Tottenham have turned their attentions to Samu Aghehowa (21) of Porto ahead of a potential transfer, according to a report from Sacha Tavolieri. The North London club are aiming to recruit a new forward after Dominic Solanke’s injury issues and Richarlison’s lack of form. 

Spurs view the former Spanish youth international forward as the ideal fit for Thomas Frank’s system. The 21-year-old has impressed for the Portuguese club so far this season, scoring 6 goals and registering 1 assist in 10 league matches. Additionally, Aghehowa’s profile and age offer much promise and potential. 

Aghehowa headed to the Premier League?

Whilst no concrete offer has yet been submitted for the Spaniard, Tottenham could soon activate their interest and make a formal bid, Tavolieri understands. Amid difficulty finding the back of the net, the striker could be the ideal solution to the goalscoring woes they have failed to address since the departure of Harry Kane.
