As one of the biggest spenders in world football this summer, Tottenham came into the season with expectations of pulling themselves out of the muck and back into big-time in the Premier League.
The London outfit brought in the likes of Sandro Tonali, Savinho, Omar Marmoush, Mateus Fernandes, and more, spending nearly £300M along the way.
Yet they've started the 2026/27 Premier League campaign in poor form, a draw and two defeats, currently sitting 17th in the table. And in a goalless draw with Nottingham Forest on Saturday, Roberto De Zerbi's side made unwanted history.
Spurs fired off just seven shots, with zero arriving on target after 90 minutes at the City Ground.
As a result, Tottenham have now failed to score in their first three league games for the first time since all the way back in 1974!
They've been sucked into the relegation fights in the past two seasons, surely they won't make it a third consecutive campaign fighting in the basement of the Premier League...
