Tottenham are looking to add more depth to their attack in the summer transfer window and that could see them target a move for Aston Villa attacker.
Timo Werner, Brennan Johnson, Wilson Odobert, Mikey Moore and Dominic Solanke have all spent time out with injuries and that has troubled Ange Postecoglou and his management team.
Spurs, who are currently in the bottom half of the Premier League table, are expected to back their manager once again when the summer transfer window opens.
According to Fichajes, Tottenham are plotting a shock move for Aston Villa attacker Donyell Malen.
The Dutchman only join Unai Emery’s side in the winter transfer window but that has not stopped Spurs from targeting a move for the former Borussia Dortmund man.
With Werner likely to return to the Bundesliga after his poor loan spell in North London and Richarlison facing an uncertain future at the club, Postecoglou would need more attacking options ahead of next season.
Malen, despite arriving in the Premier League just a few months ago, is reportedly on Spurs’ priority list.

The North London club currently have a versatile attack and they have not struggled too much for goals this season but to increase the options in their squad and to add more depth, they are targeting a move for Malen.
Spurs were interested in the player before he moved to Villa Park and they are set to reignite their interest this summer.
Postecoglou is an admirer of the player’s finishing ability, his pace and his versatility.
He would be a fine addition to their squad and give their attack a new dimension.
It all depends on whether Villa are willing to allow him to leave after only signing him a few months ago.
