Mikey Moore has impressed in his first two games for 1. FC Köln since joining on loan from Tottenham, showcasing his dribbling, vision, creativity and goal threat.

The 19-year-old reportedly had other offers on the table, with Sport Bild claiming that Fulham and Everton were prepared to pay up to €30 million to sign him.

However, despite the prospect of earning far more than the roughly €100,000 he currently receives per month, Moore consciously chose Köln as the best option for securing regular playing time and continuing his development.

The report further claims that Moore hopes to perform so well at the Bundesliga club that he can earn a move to a top club such as Manchester City, Liverpool or Arsenal next summer.

Therefore, Köln shouldn’t get their hopes up about keeping the young attacking midfielder beyond next summer – but having him on loan for just one season already looks like quite a coup for the Billy Goats.
