Chelsea Beat Tottenham 2-1 as Fernandez Drives Derby Win

Fernandez Sets Stamford Bridge Standard

Chelsea signed off their Premier League home campaign with a fierce 2-1 win over Tottenham at Stamford Bridge, a derby victory built on energy, control and the authority of Enzo Fernandez.

The Argentine delivered when Chelsea needed leadership most, scoring the opener, creating the second and setting the emotional tone. Tottenham threatened late through Richarlison, but Chelsea held firm to secure three valuable points in a nervous London derby.

Santos Seizes Chelsea Chance

Andrey Santos made his opportunity count. Short of minutes in recent weeks, he played with purpose, covered ground intelligently and finished with confidence to double Chelsea’s lead.

Cole Palmer looked sharper between the lines, while Moises Caicedo added bite in midfield. At the back, Jorrel Hato recovered from one awkward first half moment to produce a vital late block that protected Chelsea’s lead.

Tottenham Fall Short Again

Tottenham had flashes of threat, particularly through Mathys Tel and Pedro Porro, but their defensive lapses proved costly. Richarlison’s late goal gave Spurs hope, yet it arrived too late to change the mood.

For Chelsea, this was a derby win with edge. For Tottenham, it was another reminder of a season where promise too often gave way to frustration.
