Tottenham ready to meet Newcastle United’s three-figure Sandro Tonali demand | OneFootball

Tottenham now seem to have stolen the march on their rivals in a move for Italy international and Newcastle United star Sandro Tonali. Roberto De Zerbi’s side are now prepared to go the extra mile to seal the deal too.

The British media has appeared confident about a possible deal today and now, Alfredo Pedulla has reported some information.

He claims that there is a very good relationship between Tonali and De Zerbi. This is playing a key role in the deal and the Italian would be keen on uniting with his compatriot at the London giants, even if they have finished 17th in the last two campaigns.

Tottenham would now also be willing to meet Newcastle United’s three-figure mark for the Italy man, even if competition from other clubs exists. Now, it would be all about whether Spurs can make a formal approach before their big rivals step up their own efforts for Tonali.

Spurs moving quickly

There have been claims in England that Spurs’ name could be getting used to drive Arsenal forward but these have been denied in Italy.

It would be interesting to see whose information turns out to be true but it does appear as though Tottenham are in a rush to formally make one statement signing after another. With Marcos Senesi, Andy Robertson and Jan Paul Van Hecke in the bag, Tonali would be a signing which shows that the club is willing to truly back their manager.
