Tottenham Hotspur Stadium will not host Kanye West during his planned visit to the United Kingdom.

After releasing Bully, his 12th studio album, on 28 March, Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, announced overseas dates including England. The 24-time Grammy winner's camp then asked to stage several shows at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Daily Mail reports that the club declined.

The rejection was said to be linked to Tottenham's historic ties with the Jewish community and West's past antisemitic remarks.

Following that refusal, West was named as a headliner for Wireless Festival, billed as the United Kingdom's largest urban music festival. Prime minister Keir Starmer described the booking as deeply concerning.

The report added that a possible ban on the rapper entering the United Kingdom is also being considered.
