Odobert burst onto the scene last season, becoming Burnley’s youngest-ever Premier League goalscorer with a top finish in the 4-1 loss to Chelsea.

His impressive performances caught the attention of Spurs, who have moved swiftly to secure his services.

The versatile attacker, who can operate on either wing or through the middle, is a promising addition to Ange Postecoglou’s squad.

The move follows Burnley’s 4-1 Championship victory over Luton Town, in which Odobert scored.

He becomes Tottenham’s fifth summer signing following moves for Dominic Solanke, Archie Gray, Yang Min-hyeok and Lucas Bergvall.

Odobert’s arrival could have implications for Manor Solomon’s future, who has struggled with injuries. The Israeli winger could be surplus to requirements this summer.

Spurs fans will be eager to see the new signing in action when they kick off their Premier League campaign against Leicester City on Monday.
