Tottenham Hotspur are targeting a move for Callum Hudson-Odoi after the winger’s brilliant start to the season at Nottingham Forest.
Hudson-Odoi has helped Nottingham Forest into the top three of the Premier League table, with Nuno Espirito Santo’s side having been the surprise package of the campaign.
The 23-year-old has scored twice in the Premier League this season and has rebuilt his career at the City Ground following a frustrating period.
Hudson-Odoi emerged as one of English football’s most exciting talents as a teenager at Chelsea and was subject of interest from Bayern Munich. Injuries and a loss of favour derailed his progress and led to a cut-price move to Nottingham Forest for an initial fee of £3m.
His form at Forest has attracted the attention of Tottenham, according to Football Insider, with the North Londoners having tracked Hudson-Odoi in the summer window.
Ange Postecoglou is understood to be keen to add to his wide options with doubts over the long-term future of loanee Timo Werner.
Hudson-Odoi, who won three caps for England in 2019, will be hoping for an international recall when interim boss Lee Carsley names his squad for November’s Nations League games.
