talkSPORT reports that Tottenham could move for Sunderland goalkeeper Robin Roefs this summer as they assess options in goal.
The Dutchman joined from NEC Nijmegen last year and has quickly impressed on Wearside during his debut Premier League campaign.
Roefs has seven clean sheets in the league, and only Burnley’s Martin Dubravka has made more saves this season. He also saved all three of Everton’s spot-kicks in an FA Cup third round shootout, sending Sunderland into the next draw.
The 23-year-old is under contract at the Stadium of Light until 2030.
After a 2-1 win over Crystal Palace, Roefs said he had wanted a clean sheet and a win, accepted the latter mattered more, and felt Sunderland deserved the points after responding to falling behind.
He added that there would be no easing off, with the dressing room message to keep pushing, especially at home. Nearing the 40-point mark, he insisted ambition stretches beyond survival and that they aim to win every game, believing they can trouble any opponent.
