According to Football Insider, Tottenham are preparing to reignite their pursuit of Morgan Gibbs-White in January, with his valuation believed to be around £125m as Roberto De Zerbi seeks added creativity.

Spurs attempted to sign the Nottingham Forest midfielder in 2025 by activating a £60m release clause, but the deal collapsed after Forest challenged the approach and threatened legal action. Gibbs-White then signed a new contract at the City Ground.

Tottenham sit bottom after five matches, with three losses and two draws, and only two goals, both in a 3-2 home defeat to Aston Villa. Any mid-season nine-figure outlay would bring heavy scrutiny, and Forest may decline to engage.
