The Europa League party will rage on at Hotspur Stadium this afternoon as Tottenham host Brighton in their final match of a dismal Premier League campaign. Spurs are languishing in 17th place and could finish as high as 14th with a win today, but league position holds little meaning after Wednesday’s triumph in Bilbao has already secured their progression to next year’s Champions League.

Brighton have more riding on the match. They arrive in north London in eighth and have an outside chance of qualifying for the Conference League with a win, though they would need several other results to fall in their favour, including Chelsea doing the business in the final next week.

A rotated Tottenham side is expected as trophy celebrations continued to rage into the wee hours of Saturday morning, with Ange Postecoglou confirming that his players had made the most of the party. Son Heung-min and Cristian Romero have both been ruled out.
