Tottenham will look to record successive wins this week when they host the Premier League’s bottom club Wolves on Saturday night.
Spurs, who fought back from 2-0 down to earn a point away at Brighton last weekend, returned to winning ways in midweek by beating Doncaster Rovers in the third round of the Carabao Cup.
That result - which has set up a fourth round meeting with holders Newcastle - continued Tottenham’s impressive start to the season under new head coach Thomas Frank.
On the other hand, it has been a quite bizarre start to the campaign for Wolves. Also into the Carabao Cup fourth round following a win over Everton, but yet to pick up a single point in the Premier League thus far.
Bottom of the table after suffering five straight defeats, Vitor Pereira will need a big performance from his players if they’re to have any chance of moving out of the relegation zone this weekend.
Tottenham vs Wolves is scheduled for a 8pm BST kick-off on Saturday, September 27, 2025.
The match will take place at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, north London.
TV channel: In the UK, the game will be televised live on Sky Sports. Coverage starts at 7.45pm BST, after the Nottingham Forest vs Sunderland fixture, on Sky Sports Premier League ahead of the 8pm kick-off.
Live stream: Sky Sports subscribers can also catch the contest live online via the Sky Go app.
Free highlights: The Sky Sports app and YouTube channel will show highlights shortly after full-time with Match of the Day broadcasting on BBC One at 10.30pm BST.
Thomas Frank is expected to recall a number of first team players for the visit of Wolves. Guglielmo Vicario, Cristian Romero, Micky van de Ven and Mohammed Kudus should all return after being rested against Doncaster.
There is a decision to make in the full-back positions with Destiny Udogie fit again. Brennan Johnson’s goal could earn him a start on the flanks as Lucas Bergvall and Xavi Simons operate centrally.
Richarlison is likely to lead the line with Mathys Tel failing to impress in midweek as the lone striker.
Frank should provide updates on Pape Matar Sarr, Dominic Solanke and Randal Kolo Muani in the pre-match press conference, while summer signing Kota Takai could be in contention for the first time this season.
Wolves were handed a major boost in last week with Jorgen Strand Larsen returning from injury against Leeds. He should get the nod over Tolu Arokodare in attack despite the Nigeria international scoring against Everton.
That said, midfielder Andre is set to miss out with a calf problem.

While Wolves have beaten Premier League opposition in the Carabao Cup this season, they simply can’t buy a win in the Premier League itself.
Spurs will be kicking themselves if they drop points against the bottom team in the division, but we don’t expect that to happen as another routine home win is on the cards.
Tottenham to win, 3-0.
Wolves have a fine recent record against Tottenham, unbeaten in the last five meetings and earned a point in the corresponding fixture last season.
