Cristian Romero back from ban with Thomas Frank making more changes
Thomas Frank has tweaked his team as Tottenham travel to face Newcastle tonight.
Spurs are on a run of four matches without a win in the Premier League after their 2-1 home defeat by Fulham over the weekend.
Frank opted for a system without a left winger in that match and it didn't work, suggesting it will be yet another different formation and lineup at St James' Park.
Cristian Romero returns from suspension, while Micky Van de Ven is dropped in favour of Kevin Danso.
Frank has opted for a more ambitious midfield in the last couple of matches, and he keeps that going with Pape Matar Sarr and Rodrigo Bentancur playing behind Lucas Bergvall.
Xavi Simons did not start any of the three matches last week and throwing him in away at Newcastle would be a big ask. As such, the Dutchman warms the bench once more.
