Igor Tudor accused Raul Jimenez of cheating before Fulham’s opener and branded the decision ridiculous as Tottenham lost 2-1 at Craven Cottage on Sunday.

Harry Wilson struck in the seventh minute, finishing an Oscar Bobb cross after Jimenez appeared to shove Radu Dragusin with both hands. The on-field call by referee Thomas Bramall was checked and upheld by VAR Craig Pawson, the Premier League’s matchday centre said, as the contact was deemed below the foul threshold.

Fulham doubled the lead before the break. Spurs rallied late when Richarlison scored in the second half, his first goal since a hamstring injury in January.

Tudor argued that even small contact can create a decisive advantage and that the goal should have been cancelled, accusing Jimenez of not playing the ball. He was visibly incensed on the touchline and in his press conference.

Spurs were on the wrong side of a similar call last week, when referee Peter Bankes penalised Randal Kolo Muani for a push on Gabriel before a would-be equaliser, a decision upheld by VAR in the 4-1 defeat to Arsenal. They have yet to win a Premier League game in 2026, drawing four and losing six of their last 10.

He called the situation complicated, urged his players to find resolve and show more personality, and lamented shortfalls in attack, midfield and defence. Tottenham host Crystal Palace on Thursday, the last side they beat in the league.
