According to a report from L’Équipe journalist Flavien Trésarrieu, Tottenham midfielder Pape Matar Sarr (23) wants to stay in the Premier League this summer despite interest from other clubs in Europe. AS Monaco are among the clubs to show an interest in the Senegalese international midifelder.

Les Monégasques enquired over the former Metz midfielder’s availability. However, Monaco’s interest did not go any further than an initial enquiry as the 23-year-old informed the Principality club that he wishes to remain in the Premier League. As a result, the Ligue 1 club have been forced to look elsewhere as they aim to bolster their options in the middle of the pitch.
