Toulouse will impose a night-time curfew on unaccompanied under-16s on selected World Cup match nights, covering at least seven dates.
According to L'Équipe, the municipal order applies from 22:00 to 05:00 within a defined city-centre perimeter. Mayor Jean-Luc Moudenc said it would be enforced with discretion.
It will be in force on the nights of France’s games, specifically Tuesday 16 June, Monday 22 and Friday 26.
It will also apply for Brazil v Morocco on the night of Saturday 13 June, Scotland v Morocco on Friday 19, Morocco v Haiti on Wednesday 24 and Tunisia v Netherlands on Thursday 25.
Moudenc linked the move to disturbances and damage in the city after PSG’s Champions League final win on 30 May. Earlier this week, Clermont-Ferrand introduced a similar rule, requiring under-16s to be with an adult between 23:00 and 07:00 or face a 150 euro fine.
A fan zone will be created on the Stadium forecourt from the quarter-finals to show France matches, with capacity for 18,000 people.
