After Aïssa Laïdouni’s World Cup performance, there is no wonder clubs are interested in the Ferencvárosi midfielder. According to the reports of Foot Mercato, Ligue 1 club Toulouse are one of the teams who has their eyes on the Tunisian international.
While no offers have been received by the Hungarian outfit, it is also being reported that several clubs in Spain and Germany are also interested. This competition could force TFC to move quickly if they want to secure the midfielder’s services.
As a player, the 26-year-old is a complete midfielder. He utilizes his size and speed to cover ground and win the ball and has the technical ability to make plays once the ball is at his feet. The Paris (Montfermeil) born midfielder is more of a box-to-box player on defense, but has the distribution and quality to play the six.
Laïdouni is a truly versatile player who can fit into many different systems and roles making him very valuable to any coach in any league. Toulouse has a talented roster. With that success, they may see some departures during the transfer window. If they are able to bring in the World Cup player it would be an excellent pick-up.
