Toulouse ‘to sign’ Thomas Jorgensen from Viborg for just under €10m | OneFootball

According to Tipsbladet, Toulouse are set to sign Denmark midfielder Thomas Jorgensen, 20, from Viborg for a package just under €10m.

The club have been working on the deal for several weeks and are now close to finalising it. The left-footed midfielder received his first senior Denmark call-up in June, without playing.

Jorgensen has been at Viborg since 2024 and is coming off his most complete season, producing five goals and nine assists in all competitions.

The fee is estimated at a little under €10m, comprising €7.5m plus €1.5m in bonuses and a notable sell-on percentage. Viborg had set that valuation to let him leave. He joined Viborg from FC Copenhagen in 2024 for €600,000.

Once completed, it would be a record sale for Viborg and Toulouse’s biggest outlay under RedBird.

Jorgensen is due to arrive in Toulouse on Monday. He will join compatriots under new head coach Jens Berthel Askou, with Rasmus Nicolaisen as captain.
