Trabzonspor ‘to move for’ Al-Hilal’s Darwin Nunez after Salah deal | OneFootball

Trabzonspor have pivoted to Al-Hilal striker Darwin Nunez after completing a headline move for Mohamed Salah, continuing their summer rebuild.

A Spor reports that the club have already lodged an offer for Nunez and are preparing talks with the player, his camp and Al-Hilal to test the feasibility of a deal. The report offered no detail on the Saudi side’s position or the terms proposed.

Buoyed by progress on Salah, president Ertugrul Dogan has said he can recruit any star he wants and outpace domestic rivals in Türkiye.

Nunez, 27, made 24 appearances last season, scoring nine times and supplying five assists for Al-Hilal.

He joined from Liverpool last summer, but the winter signing of Karim Benzema upended his plans. Under Simone Inzaghi he was sidelined, and he asked to leave.

Besiktas are also in the race for Nunez, including on loan, after their attempt to land Salah stalled.
