City were back hard at work at the CFA on Friday ahead of Sunday's return to Barclays Women's Super League action away at Aston Villa.

The Blues will lock horns with the Villans on Sunday 15 March, with kick-off scheduled for 11:55 (UK) as our WSL pursuit continues after the conclusion of the international break.

Andree Jeglertz’s side will resume domestic action holding an eight-point advantage on our nearest rivals as we approach the final six top-flight matches of the season.

Natalia Arroyo’s team, meanwhile, will be aiming to preserve their WSL status before the season’s end, with Villa currently ninth in the table.

The mood was positive as the squad went about their work ahead of this weekend’s return to action.
