Exciting matchday events on offer at City's WSL clash with Leicester

We welcome the Foxes to the Joie Stadium on Friday 13 February, with kick-off set for 19:00 (UK).

City are looking to return to winning ways after dropping points for the first time since the opening day of the season in our last outing.

The Blues were edged out 1-0 by Arsenal on Sunday, bringing a 13-match sequence of victories to an end.

We remain eight points clear at the WSL summit, though, and a win against Leicester would pile the pressure back on our title rivals to keep pace later this weekend.

Standing in our way are a Foxes side rooted to the foot of the table, but their position doesn’t reflect their potential danger on Friday evening.

Indeed, City had to wait until the 74th minute to break the deadlock in December’s reverse fixture at the King Power Stadium, and a similar test is expected under the lights at the Joie Stadium.

The players were hard at work at the CFA ahead of the tie to make sure we’re ready for action.
