Sunday started with a done deal as Craig Dawson swapped West Ham for Wolves, where he has signed a two-and-a-half year deal.

Manchester United’s summer search for a striker has now led them to consider Duơan Vlahović but 90min state that for Juventus to come to the table and consider such a move, they would want to at least recoup the fee they paid Fiorentina for his services.

Several newspapers in England also claim that David de Gea is eager to finish his career at Manchester United and is willing to sign a new deal on reduced terms to do so.

Manchester City are set to win the race for another exciting Argentine talent, with MĂĄximo Perrone looking likely to pick them when he leaves VĂ©lez Sarsfield, according to the Daily Mail.

Regardless of that deal, the Athletic report that City are keen to tie Ä°lkay GĂŒndoğan down to a new contract, with his current terms set to expire this summer.

The Mirror report that Chelsea will return with an improved bid for Brighton’s MoisĂ©s Caicedo after having an initial ÂŁ55m bid rejected and will go back with an offer closer to the Seagulls’ ÂŁ65m asking price.

But on the incoming front for Brighton, they have submitted a concrete offer of €25m to Roma for NicolĂČ Zaniolo, Il Tempo state, although that falls well below Roma’s asking price for the playmaker.

Reliable sources at West Ham claim that if Declan Rice does depart as expected this summer (with Arsenal leading the race for his signature) then Manchester United’s Scott McTominay has been earmarked as his replacement.

While it may not strictly fall under transfer news, La Gazzetta dello Sport report that it is now looking increasingly likely that Zlatan Ibrahimović will retire at the end of the season and bring the curtain down on an illustrious career.

After Mundo Deportivo’s weekend report that Barcelona are interested in a loan move for Inter’s Marcelo Brozović, it is now claimed that a potential swap deal is being mooted which would see Franck KessiĂ© return to his former home city, although the story also states that the Nerazzurri have no intention of accepting such an offer.

Relevo report that with the club growing ever more concerned about his performances, Ferland Mendy is available for transfer and Real Madrid are willing to listen to offers.

Having tracked his progress for the past three seasons, Real Madrid are now seriously considering making their move for Sporting CP defender Pedro Porro, in order to beat out interest from Tottenham and Manchester City.

As he continues to be linked with a move to various Premier League sides, NicolĂČ Zaniolo will not play for Roma again in January, with El Messaggero reporting the club have decided to exclude him from matchday squads until either he is sold or the transfer window closes.

Calciomercato believe they have already found a potential replacement in Gerard Deulofeu of Udinese.

From the horse’s mouth

After the rumours regarding Eduardo Camavinga potentially being loaned out by Real Madrid, two different camps have rubbished any such move taking place.

“Camavinga is like Toni Kroos and Luka Modrić,” coach Carlo Ancelotti said. “He’s untouchable. We won’t let him leave.”

“There’s no truth in the talk about Arsenal and Chelsea,”his representative Joshua Barnett insisted. “Of course any club would want him but he’s very happy in Madrid and the club are very happy with him.”

In case you missed it

There were no major completed deals on Saturday – but don’t expect that to last long.

Although Youssoufa Moukoko did end speculation around his future by penning an extension with Borussia Dortmund.
