We await further updates on the future of Marc Guehi amid Arsenal’s interest in the Crystal Palace captain.
It emerged earlier this week that the Gunners were interested in a deal for Guehi in a shock twist, with title rivals Manchester City having been exploring a potential move of their own this month after losing first-choice centre-backs Ruben Dias and Josko Gvardiol to injury.
Liverpool saw a £35m deal for Guehi collapse in dramatic fashion at the 11th hour on transfer deadline day in the summer and retain their interest, while there may be high-profile suitors from abroad in the likes of Bayern Munich.
David Ornstein of The Athletic recently reported that Arsenal are long-time admirers of Guehi, who is out of contract at Selhurst Park at the end of the current season and won’t sign an extension.
The Gunners are said to be in touch with the player’s camp, though he is most likely a summer target.
