Arsenal are sensationally reported to have made contact over a blockbuster move for Erling Haaland following the Manchester City verdict, having also been linked with the likes of Eli Junior Kroupi, Dani Olmo and Ibrahim Maza as they continue to target Julian Alvarez.

Manchester United are said to be lining up a fresh bid for Alejandro Balde and may rival Arsenal for Kevin Schade as they continue to fight to keep JJ Gabriel, while Chelsea could be eyeing a swoop for Tyrick Mitchell at Crystal Palace as Barcelona weigh up an offer for Estevao. Liverpool are rumoured to be pondering a shock return to Anfield for Trent Alexander-Arnold, with Lamine Camara potentially set to become their first signing under new sporting director Julian Ward.

Liverpool consider Trent Alexander-Arnold return

Could we see Trent Alexander-Arnold make a sensational return to Liverpool?

It was only last summer that Trent departed Anfield for Real Madrid in a high-profile free transfer, which notably soured his reputation among some Reds fans.

However, TEAMtalk are now reporting that Liverpool are among the clubs interested in Alexander-Arnold, who faces a fierce battle for starts under Jose Mourinho at Real Madrid.

Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City are also said to be keen on the 27-year-old, who is said to be focused on Madrid for now and not considering a January exit from the Bernabeu.

Gyokeres responds to Arsenal exit rumours

Viktor Gyokeres has admitted frustration at a lack of game time at Arsenal this season, while also addressing transfer speculation.

Despite only arriving from Sporting CP last summer and going on to score 21 goals across all competitions in his debut season, including 14 in the Premier League, Gyokeres was heavily linked with exit from Arsenal during the recent transfer window.

There had been talk of Gyokeres being used as makeweight in a swap deal for Atletico Madrid striker Julian Alvarez, and there were rumours of a Barcelona switch leading up to transfer Deadline Day.

Ultimately, the striker stayed put and has revealed he was never close to leaving.

“Of course, there was a lot of speculation,” Gyokeres told Swedish news outlet SVT Sport. “But I had a full pre-season, and it felt good. I was fully focused on Arsenal.

“For me, staying was a given. I’m extremely happy at the club.”

Joao Felix wants Europe return

“I'm very happy at Al Nassr. This will be my second year. I'll be 27 at the end of the season. I'm planning to return to Europe, though perhaps not immediately.

“I don't know if it will be at the end of this season or the end of next, but I'm eager to return to Europe, to play in the Champions League again, and to compete there again.

“It's always different. Playing in Europe, playing in the Champions League, playing against the best teams in the world gives you extra motivation, and obviously, that's what I'm thinking about.” (via AS)

Man Utd in for Arsenal target

Manchester United are set to join Arsenal and Liverpool in the race for Brentford winger Kevin Schade.

The 24-year-old has attracted attention after impressive performances, starting the season with three goals in seven appearances across all competitions for the Bees.

As a result, several Premier League sides are reportedly monitoring his situation ahead of the January transfer window.

According to CaughtOffside, Arsenal and Liverpool are firmly in the race for his signature, though Man United could emerge as serious contenders in the coming months.

'Arsenal would be fitting next step for Cesc Fabregas'

Asmir Begovic is already plotting out Cesc Fabregas’ next move.

He said: “Cesc Fabregas to Chelsea or Arsenal? You wouldn't rule it out. Having played with him, I know he understands the game inside out, his knowledge is absolutely brilliant. He commands respect from his players and works with great energy, enthusiasm, and intensity.

“It’s a perfect mix for a top manager, and his work at Como has been outstanding, but at some point he will look to kick on in his career and look at those next steps.

“I’m sure Chelsea would've considered him but obviously they went down the route of Xabi Alonso, which is a fantastic appointment.

“A move to Arsenal would also be a fitting step given his stature there. I wouldn't be surprised to see him managing in the Premier League or La Liga soon, he has the potential for an incredible managerial career.”
