The summer window in Europe is shut, but the work doesn’t stop elsewhere. Saudi Pro League clubs have until October 12, and Premier League players could be of interest, with Richarlison looking for a new club, while the likes of Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham start working on target for January.

The Gunners endured a frustrating summer due to missing out on many of their top targets, but are being tipped to go back in for at least two in January: Julian Alvarez and Eli Junior Kroupi. Chelsea did land one of those targets, in Morgan Rogers, but failed to sign a replacement for Enzo Fernandez, after Monaco pulled the plug an agreement to sell Lamine Camara. Chelsea could now turn to Atletico Madrid midfielder Pablo Barrios, who is valued at around €100 million.

Manchester United were also left wanting after the transfer window due to missing out on Lewis Hall, and a fresh approach is January would not be a surprise. They have poached 16-year-old star Isaac Konde from Liverpool. Tottenham will be happy with their business, but, with Richarlison being pushed out, Spurs could also reignite their interest in Junior Kroupi when the transfer window reopens in less than four months.
