Chelsea have missed out on Calafiori, but are closing in on three other signings in a busy start to the summer window. Renato Veiga, Aaron Anselmino and Caleb Wiley are expected to become Enzo Maresca's sixth, seventh and eighth new additions for a combined £40m. Borussia Dortmund star Karim Adeyemi is a reported target, along with Rennes' Desire Doue. Victor Osimhen continues to be linked and they are set to lose academy star Rio Ngumoha to Liverpool.

Tottenham are also being heavily linked with Doue. Still, it is Eze, Wolves star Pedro Neto and Aston Villa's Jacob Ramsey who are understood to be further up Ange Postecoglou's transfer wishlist. Manchester United are closing in on a £80m double deal for Joshua Zirkzee and Matthijs de Ligt, have seen another bid for Jarrad Branthwaite rejected and Mason Greenwood is heading to Marseille. But a £42m bid for Leny Yoro has been accepted by Lille.
