Papus Nasser Ouattara has signed his first professional contract. The young Burkinabè striker will embark on his maiden European adventure at Reims, a Ligue 2 side in France.

The Champagne club did not disclose either the transfer fee or the contract duration. The statement specifies that Nasser will spend his first weeks with the Pro 2 squad, the club's reserve team. Before making his move to Europe, Papus Nasser Ouattara played for the Guépards de Vitesse FC in Bobo-Dioulasso, competing in Burkina Faso's top division.

Born on September 12, 2006, Ouattara caught the eye of several European clubs during the last African Nations Championship (Tanzania, Uganda, Kenya), where he featured in 4 matches and scored 1 goal.
