As the World Cup nears its end, the transfer rumour mill is getting busier and busier. Here are the latest big rumours.

Sticking at Old Trafford, the Red Devils are among a trio of teams chasingJean-Philippe Mateta. The French forward can leave Crystal Palace for around £25m and is viewed as an experienced option to complement Benjamin Sesko. Atletico Madrid and Juventus are also in the race, reports Rudy Galetti.

Meanwhile,Marcus Rashford has no intention of leaving Old Trafford for Turkey, despite interest from Fenerbahce. The 28-year-old's future remains up in the air after Barcelona opted against signing him permanently.

Leaving theManchester United myriad of murmurs, we head to Aston Villa. Unai Emery's overhaul is accelerating with a 'top winger' next in his sights. Johan Manzambi and João Gomes are almost in the door, while Pervis Estupinan is being eyed as a new left-back. Next up is a replacement for the seemingly exit-bound Morgan Rogers.

TheBBC report that Nottingham Forest are preparing a £45M bid for Tottenham midfielder Lucas Bergvall. Spurs have snubbed an opening offer of £38m, but Forest are ready to return, armed with their Elliot Anderson war-chest.

Fulham have joined a competitive Premier League chase for Genoa right-back Brooke Norton-Cuffy. TEAMtalk tell us that Everton and Brentford are also in the mix for the England u-21 international.

Finally, rememberJhon Duran? The once wonderkid of Aston Villa has had a rather forgettable time since leaving Villa Parl. Unwanted at Saudi side Al-Nassr, he's in talks with Benfica.
