Tonali's reportedly ready to quit Tyneside if Newcastle fail to secureChampions League football, a bleak prospect as the Magpies sit 12th in the table. In addition to interest from Juventus, Manchester City and Arsenal, The Telegraph claim that Manchester United have now put the unsettled Azzurri star high on their shortlist.

Another Italian inclined to change clubs this summer isFederico Chiesa. Fed up with being Arne Slot's last roll of the dice at Liverpool, the winger wants a change of scenery. Caught Offside claim Liverpool have slapped a £25m price tag on Chiesa with Juventus, Napoli and Roma all weighing up bids.

Liverpool, meanwhile, could activate their buy-back on Jarell Quansah. The defender has impressed since leaving for Bayer Leverkusen in a £35m deal last summer. Football Insider say he is viewed as an option to solve the club's centre-back shortage, while it would cost around £52m to re-sign Quansah. That looks an expensive error...

Spurs search for a striker continues. The North Londoners like the look ofSamu Agehowa and Dusan Vlahovic, having decided that Randal Kolo Muani will not be a part of their permanent plans. TEAMtalk say Spurs have no plans to trigger the purchase clause in Kolo Muani's loan.

Elsewhere,Everton are battling to hold onto the club's top talent. Foot Africa say Arsenal are one of several clubs monitoring Iliman Ndiaye, while Spanish outlet Fichajes have claimed that Manchester City are preparing a shock swoop for Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall
