Monday's transfer talk features Nottingham Forest's move for an Italian giant, Manchester United's ongoing midfield rebuild plans, and Chelsea considering a surprise sale.
We'll start at the City Ground, whereNottingham Forest are closing in on a new signing. Sean Dyche has regularly favoured a big man at number nine and they don't come much bigger than Lorenzo Lucca. Forest have agreed a deal to sign the 6ft 7in striker on loan from Napoli, reports Fabrizio Romano.
Romano's reputation for insider information means there's not much rest for the transfer guru this month.
You can only imagine what that man's screen time looks like when the transfer window is open.
Other offerings from Romano includeLeeds United's pursuit of the fittingly named Romano Schmid. A €15m fee should be enough to prise the attacking midfielder from Werder Bremen as Daniel Farke raids his homeland.
It feels like there's not a midfielder born from his mother that's not been linked withManchester United in recent months.
Alongside the regularly touted Carlos Baleba, Elliot Anderson and Adam Wharton now sitsJoao Gomes. United are prepared to rival Napoli and Atletico Madrid for the Wolves midfielder, say Caught Offside.
Joining the potential players keen to jump ship atPremier League strugglers Wolves is Emmanuel Agbadou. Time away at the Africa Cup of Nations has persuaded the Ivorian his future is best served away from the Molineux malaise. Besiktas are prepared to pay £13m for the centre-back, according to reports in Turkey.
Despite his impressive performances,Chelsea are reportedly prepared to cash-in on Enzo Fernandez. TEAMtalk say the Blues are willing to sell Fernandez, if suitors Real Madrid stump up the right price.
Given the Argentine costChelsea a whopping £106.1m, we'll take this one with a pinch of salt...
And in perhaps the most random transfer rumour of the day, Sevilla are eyeing a move forEverton right-back Nathan Patterson.
Football Insider say the Spanish side are weighing up a deal for the rarely seen and often injured right-back.
