Legendary Barça goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen is expected to leave Catalonia this January during the winter transfer window.

In July, Ter Stegen underwent back surgery. However, the Barcelona goalkeeper is gradually edging closer to a return. Now behind Joan Garcia and Wojciech Szczesny in the pecking order, the German faces a highly uncertain future with the Blaugrana. With his sights set on the 2026 World Cup, Ter Stegen is considering a move in the upcoming winter transfer window.
But so far, according to daily Mundo Deportivo, Barça has yet to receive a single offer for the German shot-stopper. Nevertheless, the player's agents are actively working to find him a new destination.
As a reminder, Marc-André ter Stegen is under contract with FC Barcelona until June 2028.
