Brazilian midfielder Jean Lucas has made the move from Olympique Lyonnais to a second Ligue 1 Uber Eats club, signing a five-year deal with AS Monaco on Monday.

Brazilian midfielder Jean Lucas has made the switch from Olympique Lyonnais to AS Monaco, putting pen to paper on a five-year deal with principality club. A transfer for the sum of €12m (including €1m in bonuses) - plus an incentive of 15% on any eventual future transfer - was announced by OL Monday evening.

The 23-year-old arrived from Flamengo in June 2019, going on to play 25 games (three goals) with the Rhône club in all competitions. He was loaned to Brest (17 games) for the second half of last season. The departure of Jean Lucas frees up a place for a non-European player in the Lyon squad.
