Rony Lopes is making his return to Ligue 1 Uber Eats, having signed for ESTAC Troyes on loan from Sevilla. The same goes for Christopher Jullien, the former Toulouse defender who has joined Montpellier on loan from Celtic.

At 26 years of age, Rony Lopes is making a return to France by joining ESTAC Troyes during the summer transfer window.

The Portuguese has already made a host of career appearances in Ligue 1 Uber Eats. With 153 games played in the French league with LOSC (2014-17), AS Monaco (2015, 2017-2019) and OGC Nice (20/21), Rony Lopes is very familiar with Ligue 1 Uber Eats, in which he has scored 29 goals, including 15 in the 2017/18 season in the Principality alone, and provided 14 assists. Troyes said on Wednesday morning that the midfielder is joining them on a season-long loan without an option to buy, from Sevilla.

Christopher Jullien joins Montpellier HSC Another return to Ligue 1 Uber Eats was announced on Tuesday evening - that of Christopher Jullien. The French central defender from Glasgow Celtic has joined Montpellier HSC on loan. Jullien, 29, passed his medical on Tuesday before signing for the Ligue 1 Uber Eats outfit after three years in Scotland. The athletic defender (1.96m, 90kg) has played very little since sustaining a serious knee injury December 2020. Christopher Jullien, a product of the AJ Auxerre academy (2005-2013), arrived on the scene during his three seasons at Toulouse FC (2016-2019), after a remarkable season at Dijon FCO (2015-16) with current Montpellier coach Olivier Dall'Oglio. At youth level, the Montpellier newcomer was an U20 world champion in 2013, alongside Paul Pogba and Lucas Digne. The former TΓ©fΓ©cΓ© man is Montpellier's sixth recruit of the summer after Wahbi Khazri, Arnaud Nordin, Faitout Maouassa, ThΓ©o Sainte-Luce and Falaye Sacko.
