In order to ensure your journey to TSG Hoffenheim's game against Borussia Mönchengladbach (Saturday at 15:30 CET / Live Ticker at tsg-hoffenheim.de) goes as smoothly as possible, we have put together an overview of the arrival and departure options as well as the special measures in place on the day of the match.
Due to the expected number of spectators at the stadium and the high volume of traffic, TSG Hoffenheim recommend travelling early and using public transport. Additional buses will be running to the PreZero Arena on Saturday. A shuttle service, which will run every 15 minutes, will take visitors from Sinsheim/Elsenz railway station (from the bus stop on the side facing the railway tracks) to the stadium (Sinsheim-Süd industrial estate, opposite AVR) and back again. A shuttle service has also been organised on various routes to take visitors directly to the stadium from towns in the surrounding area.
TSG Hoffenheim are offering a varied entertainment programme prior to the match against Borussia Mönchengladbach, starting at 12:00 CET. A Christmas market will be set up in front of the PreZero Arena. Festively decorated wooden huts, culinary delights and Christmas music will be part of the build-up to the final home game of the year. For this reason, the buses will run one hour before and after the usual departure times as an exception.
Buses will be provided at the bus terminal (P9) for the return journey. There are fixed departure times: 17:45 CET, 18:30 CET and 19:15 CET. In addition, booster buses will be in operation on almost all lines and will run between the two fixed departure times depending on demand. More information about the departure times and stops can be found here (SWEG) and here (Palatina Bus).
Special Deutsche Bahn trains will also be in operation on Saturday. The departure times can be found here.
If you are still travelling by car, TSG recommend that you use the free-of-charge "Freibad" car park and the multi-storey car park at Dr-Sieber-Halle near the main train station. It is also possible to park in the car parks along Neulandstraße (€5 for P12 or €10 for P14 + P15). The municipal parking areas directly next to the arena are available to visitors for a fee of €10.
