Trent Alexander Arnold returned to Anfield on Tuesday 4 November 2025 as part of Real Madrid's squad to face Liverpool in the Champions League.

The right back will start on the bench marking his 1st visit to his boyhood club since his summer transfer.

Alexander Arnold 27. has only recently recovered from hamstring injury sustained on 16 Sep and hasn't featured since.

A mural of him at Sybil Road commissioned in 2019 after Liverpool’s Champions League triumph was found vandalised ahead of tonight’s fixture , white paint covered the image and the word "rat" was graffitied across it.

Speaking ahead of the match, Alexander Arnold said:
