Tricolour treatment room: who Fluminense miss for Libertadores opener

Fluminense will make their 2026 Copa Libertadores debut against Venezuela’s Deportivo La Guaira. For the match, Luis Zubeldía will have back some players who were rested, such as Canobbio and Samuel Xavier. On the other hand, those sidelined by the medical department remain unavailable. Nonato (ankle sprain) and Matheus Reis (knee ligament injury) did not even travel with the squad.

Midfielder Facundo Bernal had been expected to return, but he is still undergoing work to regain his fitness so he can be included in the squad. In the team’s last training session at CT Carlos Castilho, he was seen training with the rest of the group.
