The Black Stars are back in action this afternoon in Brentford as they take on the Soca Warriors in the Unity Cup third-place play-off. The international football tournament has returned for the first time in over 20 years, with the Gtech Community Stadium playing host to two thrilling semi-finals earlier this week.

Trinidad and Tobago went down to Jamaica in Tuesday’s first semi-final, going down 3-2 in agonising fashion as Richard King scored a 94th-minute penalty. Trinidad had earlier fought back from two goals down to draw level, thanks to a strike from Isiah Leacock and Kevin Molino, and now face Ghana to avoid the wooden spoon.

Brandon Thomas-Asante’s first international goal could not prevent Ghana from going down 2-1 to Nigeria on Wednesday night. Abu Francis had a golden chance to equalise in injury tim, but was denied by a superb save from Stanley Nwabali. Who will come out on top today ahead of this evening’s final?
