At the 32nd edition of the Trophées UNFP ceremony, which took place in Paris this evening, Les Rouge et Bleu took home a total of 15 awards. Having already done so in 2021 and 2022, Paris Saint-Germain also pulled off another Player of the Season double, with Kylian Mbappé winning the award on the men's side and Tabitha Chawinga winning it on the women's side.

Having been named as the Ligue 1 Player of the Season in 2019, 2021, 2022 and 2023, the 25-year-old striker wins the award for a fifth time. With 27 goals and seven assists to his name in 29 league games this season, Paris Saint-Germain's all-time top scorer (256 goals across all competitions, including 175 goals in Ligue 1) thereby becomes the first player to pick up the honour on five separate occasions.

At just 18 years old, the Paris Saint-Germain academy graduate has exceeded expectations and has established himself as a firm fixture of Luis Enrique's team. Paris Saint-Germain's youngest-ever player has enjoyed an exceptional season, making 25 appearances in Ligue 1 and racking up two goals and three assists in the process.

The Italy international has been crowned as the Ligue 1 Goalkeeper of the Season for the second time since joining Paris Saint-Germain. In addition to being named as the Player of the Tournament at UEFA EURO 2020 and winning the Yashin Trophy, the 25-year-old Paris 'keeper has now earned himself another individual award in the form of the very same one that he took home in 2022.

Ligue 1 Team of the Season featuring seven Rouge et Bleu players

The capital club is the best-represented side in the Ligue 1 Team of the Season for 2023–2024, which features no fewer than seven Paris players: Gianluigi Donnarumma in goal, Achraf Hakimi and Marquinhos in defence, Vitinha and Warren Zaïre-Emery in midfield and Ousmane Dembélé and Kylian Mbappé in attack.

Division 1 Arkema Player of the Season: Tabitha Chawinga

With just a few days to go until the D1 Arkema play-off final, Tabitha Chawinga is currently the league's top scorer (18 goals) and joint-top assist provider (ten assists), and now, the 27-year-old Malawian striker has picked up the Player of the Season award in her very first year in France.

Chawinga was also named as the Player of the Season in both the Chinese Women's Super League in 2018 and 2019 – back when she was plying her trade for Jiangsu Suning – and in Serie A in 2023 with Inter Milan.

The Paris player was nominated for this year's award alongside her club teammates Grace Geyoro and Sakina Karchaoui as well as Lyon's Lindsey Horan and Ada Hegerberg.

Just like last season, four Parisiennes feature in the D1 Arkema Team of the Season: defenders Elisa De Almeida and Sakina Karchaoui, midfielder and captain Grace Geyoro and striker Tabitha Chawinga.
