Troyes ‘to announce’ Hugo Picard loan with option to buy | OneFootball

Troyes are set to announce the loan signing of Hugo Picard, with an option to buy, as they accelerate recruitment before Ligue 1 kicks off, Onze Mondial reports.

The promoted club have ramped up their business days after unveiling new sporting director Jocelyn Blanchard and are finalising multiple arrivals.

Picard, an attacking midfielder at Colombus Crew, has completed his medical and is due to link up early in the week alongside Patrick Beach and Iron Gomis, whose signings have already been confirmed.

He is highly regarded by head coach Stéphane Dumont after their spell together at Guingamp between 2022 and 2024.

Since joining the Ohio club in July 2025, Picard has made 33 appearances.

Troyes also expect to add Togo midfielder Karim Dermane from Lommel once his visa is obtained.
