Trubin ‘to seek’ Benfica exit as agent knocks on doors | OneFootball

Anatoliy Trubin had been Benfica’s undisputed No 1 for the last three seasons, but has recently lost his place to Samuel Soares and is now being linked with a summer move away from the Estádio da Luz.

Record reports that his agent, Maryna Andriienko, has been knocking on multiple doors, contacting clubs and fellow agents in search of a solution, but so far without success.

A deal has not materialised due to Benfica’s demands, with the club wanting around €40m to release the No 1. Trubin is aware that Soares is secure in goal and, if he stays, his opportunities are likely to be limited.

The Ukrainian has also been linked with Tottenham. His relationship with Benfica supporters is currently strained.

In 2025/26 he made 50 appearances for Benfica, 32 in Liga Portugal Betclic, 14 in the Champions League, two in the Taça de Portugal, one in the Taça da Liga and one in the Supertaça. Across 4,455 minutes he conceded 43 goals and scored one.
