Chelsea’s move for Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho is very advanced behind the scenes according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Blues haver made four signings this summer, with Jorrel Hato, Jamie Gittens, Joao Pedro and Liam Delap all making the switch to Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea aren’t done there and are hopeful of completing deals for Garnacho and Xavi Simons before the end of the window.
The Blues have somewhat revamped their attack this summer, and it’s been reported Chelsea want eight or nine attacking options in their squad to rotate between next season.
Garnacho is a player Chelsea like, and they were first linked with the 21-year-old in January, and those links have continued throughout the summer.

Chelsea have already agreed personal terms with Garnacho, and it’s understood the deal is all done on the player side.
Garnacho only wants to join Chelsea, and the Stamford Bridge outfit are expected to make an offer before the end of the window.
No move for Garnacho is likely to be completed until one of Christopher Nkunku or Nicolas Jackson has been sold, but Romano had provided an update.
“Talks in the background between Chelsea and Man United over Garnacho are well underway,” he told his YouTube channel.

Whilst there’s an agreement on the player side there’s still work to be done until a deal is agreed with United, and the clubs are said to be some way apart in valuation.
United are believed to want £50m for Garnacho, but Chelsea value him at around £30m, and appear pretty set on that valuation.
It’s been reported they won’t just pay what United want, and it feels like this deal could go right up to the final days of the window.
