In these final days of the transfer window, Roma will try to accommodate Gasperini’s latest requests.

The manager has requested an attacking winger and a left-back to replace Wesley on the right.

Tsimikas hasn’t convinced the manager, and in recent days there had been talk of a return to Liverpool.

In recent hours, however, Roma appear to have reconsidered the Greek’s situation.

In fact, as reported by Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport, Tsimikas is expected to remain at Roma until the end of the season.

The reason is that Wolves rejected Roma’s offer for Wolfe, considered their top target for the left flank.

Furthermore, Liverpool have not yet sold Robertson to Tottenham, effectively blocking a possible return for Tsimikas.

The Greek is likely to remain in Rome until June. Wesley therefore remains the starting left-back, although the manager hopes to recover Angelino.
