Thomas Tuchel has said England will not be able to find another Harry Kane but has insisted the need to replace the captain will not be soon.

Kane is the bookmakers' favourite to win theBallon d'Or later this month following an exceptional season for club and country.

The 33-year-old scored 73 goals across all competitions forBayern Munich and England, and has continued in the same vein this season.

Kane scored his 87th goal for England during the 2-0 win over Czechia this week, and will equal Peter Shilton's national record for appearances if he features in both of the Three Lions' remaining games of the break.

Concerns have been raised over Kane's eventual successor, with no obvious contender emerging. Squad regulars Ollie Watkins and Ivan Toney are both into their thirties, while Dominic Calvert-Lewin will celebrate his 30th birthday in March.

Beyond them, there is a scarcity of options operating in top-tier European leagues.

Tuchel was asked about the next evolution of England, and said it will be impossible to replace Kane. However, he backed Kane to continue for some time, and insisted it could be 'another 10 years' before the Three Lions need a successor.

Tuchel hails Harry Kane as complete package and predicts England won’t need a successor anytime soon

"You will not get another Harry Kane, first of all,"Tuchel said.

"He is the first one to push everyone and that is his mindset and he became a very, very hardworking forward on top of his finishing skills. He is a complete package.

"We look for different options and solutions. We finished the game with Jude [Bellingham] up front as a number nine.

"There will be someone else, but it will not be Harry or a copy of Harry. We will find a solution when it comes to it but maybe not me. It might be another 10 years."
