Tuchel scolds Three Lions fans | OneFootball

Thomas Tuchel has rebuked the home fans for their lack of support during England's 3-0 win over Wales at Wembley last night - while praising the Welsh crowd's attitude.

"We had an excellent first half. By halftime, it was 3-0, but we could have scored four or five goals. It was very good. We didn't manage to score the fourth goal and the stadium went silent. Absolute silence," said Tuchel afterwards, "We couldn't bring back the energy from the fans, but the players tried very hard. We were excellent and took another step in the right direction," he told ITV.

«I expected more from the fans. We only heard the Welsh fans for about half an hour. It's sad. The team deserved more support,» he added more pointedly.

Following the comfortable victory over Craig Bellamy's Dragons, Tuchel and England will aim to consolidate top spot in Group K of the World Cup qualifiers next Tuesday when they face Latvia.
