Tunisia react to Morocco’s AFCON hosting
The Tunisian Football Federation sent official message congratulating Morocco for the successful hosting of AFCON 2025.
The Tunisian Football Federation has sent formal letter of congratulations to the Royal Moroccan Football Federation praising Morocco’s “exceptional success” in organizing the Africa Cup of Nations 2025.
The message highlighted the strong ties between the two football bodies and reflected the close relationship between the Tunisian and Moroccan people.
The Tunisian FA said the tournament was organized with high professionalism from start to finish.
In its message, the Tunisian FA praised the quality of organization stating that Morocco set new global standards for hosting major sporting events.
It pointed to the smooth planning, strong coordination and clear attention to detail throughout the competition.
Special praise was also given to Morocco’s modern sports infrastructure which played key role in making AFCON 2025 one of the most memorable editions in the history of African football.
The Tunisian FA also thanked Morocco for the warm welcome and hospitality offered to all participating delegations. It said the excellent reception reflected the values of the Moroccan people and helped create positive atmosphere during the tournament.
According to the letter the strong sporting spirit seen across the competition was the result of hard work by the Moroccan federation and its leadership aimed at developing football both nationally and across Africa.
In separate message, the Tunisian FA addressed Fouzi Lekjaa president of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation. The federation expressed pride in the “remarkable success” of AFCON 2025 and praised Morocco’s ability to host major tournaments with confidence and efficiency.
The Tunisian FA said the Morocco 2025 edition will remain bright moment in African football history and reference point for future tournaments.
