All things point in the direction of Sergio Conceicao leaving AC Milan in the summer, and currently, the same can be said for Fabio Paratici, who will arrive with him remains a mystery, though.
In a season where mystery and speculation have been common themes, Milan are potentially already seeing a bit of clarity about their summer activity. Conceicao seems increasingly likely to depart, even though he has targeted a renewal with two goals.
So, the immediate question is who will replace him. A route to Massimiliano Allegri, in recent days, has closed a little, with the former Juventus coach’s mentor speaking out against the club itself, and the links that would, hypothetically, see him on the San Siro touchline next season.
However, it seems he is still an option. As Tuttosport (via Milan News) write this morning, Fabio Paratici is gaining traction, and he is the number one candidate for Giorgio Furlani in the summer, though discussions are still ongoing.
In an ideal world, the director would then re-unite with Antonio Conte, picturing him as the ideal man to lead the new project, if he leaves Napoli. There have already been suggestions that the club are the third possibility for next season as it stands, but Paratici is adamant with his desire.
Failing to land Conte would see the club return to the Allegri hypothesis, but whether the Italian would be content as a ‘Plan B’ would need to be seen.
